What to Expect
Vassāvāsa (the Rains Retreat) is the annual three-month period when Bhikkhus stay in one place for meditation, study, and spiritual development, dedicated to the welfare of all beings.
The gathering is to respectfully invite the Most Venerable Sangha to undertake the annual Vassāvāsa — a sacred three-month period of dedicated meditation, study, and monastic discipline.
