What to Expect
Welcome the New Year with the Maryland Buddhist Vihara community in a full day of chanting, merit-making and celebration. From early morning to evening, the temple fills with the sound of Pali chanting as we begin the year with mindfulness, gratitude and loving-kindness.
A joyful occasion for the whole family — all are warmly welcome to join for the full day or any part of the programme.
White is worn as a mark of purity — come as you are if you don't have any.
