What to Expect
Daily Pali Chanting is the heartbeat of Maryland Buddhist Vihara — a sacred evening practice held every day of the year.
Rooted in the Theravada tradition, the chanting of ancient Pali suttas cultivates mindfulness, devotion and a deep connection to the Buddha's teachings.
Whether you are new to chanting or have been practicing for years, you are warmly welcome to join. No experience necessary — simply arrive, sit, and let the chanting carry you.
White is worn as a mark of purity — come as you are if you don't have any.
